Man United vs Liverpool
This weekendâs marquee Premier League is set to play out on Sunday evening.
Manchester United will play host to Liverpool, in a huge game for the latter.
United begin the weekendâs action sitting 2nd, with a 12-point advantage over 5th â meaning their spot in next seasonâs Champions League is already all but secured.
Liverpool, on the other hand, have it all to play for, and cannot afford to drop any points across their final five league outings this term.
At present, the Reds sit 6th in the English top-flight, four points adrift of 4th-placed Chelsea. Jurgen Kloppâs side failed to win either of their previous two Premier League games, though, with the form of Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino becoming a real concern.
Man United vs Liverpool delayed
This evening’s clash, however, will not be going ahead as scheduled.
This comes after a large group of Man United fans, as part of a protest against their owners, somehow made their way onto the Old Trafford pitch, as the two squads remain in their team hotels:
