Man United midfielder spotted in Turkey ahead of shock Besiktas move

Big loss?

One star Manchester United man has been spotted in a hotel in Istanbul this week with reports he is in advanced talks with Besiktas.

That player is, in fact, Marouane Fellaini who has been linked with a move to Turkey over the past few months.

The player actually made a brilliant start to the season and was a mainstay in Jose Mourinho’s side.

Mourinho has made it clear just how big the player is for him despite criticism in the past and it eventually paid off.

Though, the Belgian clearly still doesn’t feel comfortable in Manchester and could be set for a move imminently.

Being spotted in an Istanbul hotel certainly poses its own questions but recent reports have suggested the player is nowhere to be seen at Carrington.

Not only that, Mourinho recently commented on Fellaini’s position and revealed that he was worried about the players future.

That came because the Belgian’s contract is up at the end of the season and could leave for free next summer.

Though a January deal looks most likely and Man United will be hoping to get a decent fee from the player.

Fellaini signed as David Moyes’ first move after joining from Everton and cost the club £27.5million.

Mourinho reveals why Lukaku was denied penalty

One of the biggest talking points in Man United’s clash with Benfica was the penalty incident.

Romelu Lukaku looked set to take a penalty before Ander Herrera took the ball off him.

Then, Jose Mourinho shouted to the Spaniard that he couldn’t take the pen either and Daley Blind should take it.

Now, the boss has revealed his reasoning behind the decision which stunned fans and pundits.

You can find out what he had to say about the incident here.
