Man United reveal 2020/21 home shirt/30-man Europa League squad announced

Man United’s new home kit

Manchester United have, on Tuesday, revealed their home shirt for the 2020/21 campaign.

The strip, once again made by Adidas, is fairly different from the Red Devils’ 2019/20 home jersey.

The new shirt incorporates a more traditional badge, with white stripes now included on the sleeves.

An interesting pattern is also featured, with United having explained the inspiration behind it in the below thread. It was also confirmed that the shirt will be worn for the first time on Wednesday, when Man United take on LASK in the Europa League.

Man United squad to face LASK

Manchester United will head into Wednesday’s outing at Old Trafford boasting a commanding lead, after hammering their Austrian opponents 5-0 in the away leg.

As well as having unveiled their new home shirt on Tuesday, meanwhile, the Manchester powerhouse have also named their updated 30-man Europa League squad.

The squad was, for the most part, as expected, though Luke Shaw and Axel Tuanzebe, both of whom are set to be sidelined for the remainder of the season, miss out.

Should Man United progress on Thursday, which seems very, very likely given their five-goal lead, they will face one of Istanbul Basaksehir or Copenhagen in the Europa League quarter-finals stage.

There is then a chance that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men, should they progress to the last four, will be drawn against fellow Premier League outfit Wolves.
