Man United reportedly hoping to tie Rashford down to new deal this season

Rashford’s Man United stint
Despite being just 23 years of age, Marcus Rashford has stood as a mainstay in Manchester United’s frontline for a number of years now.
All told, the Englishman has notched 234 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils.
Across these outings, Rashford has managed to net 79 and assists 45.
The young forward has been particularly impressive over the last year and a half, though.
Last season saw Rashford rack up 22 goals and 12 assists in 44 outings.
And he has been in similarly solid form over the early months of the current campaign, directly contributing to 17 goals for the Manchester powerhouse.

Rashford set for new deal?
Such impressive numbers of course come with Rashford actually yet to reach his prime years.
As such, it almost goes without saying that the United faithful would love to see their side hold onto the 23-year-old for as long as possible.
Rashford himself, meanwhile, recently hinted that he sees his long-term future at Old Trafford:
For me, I never look beyond Manchester United. As a kid I’ve never looked beyond Manchester United in my mind, it wouldn’t sit right for me to be pulling on another shirt.
I just want to do the best I can for the club whilst I’m here, so hopefully I’m here for the long term.
The English international’s current contract runs until 2023, with the option for a further year.
However, as per a recent report from the Daily Star, Ed Woodward is ready to offer Rashford a new five-year deal, worth a hefty £300,000-a-week:
