Boost for Man United: Paul Pogba set for quick return from injury

Pogba will be back

Manchester United have been handed a boost with the news Paul Pogba hopes to return after the international break.

The Frenchman has not featured for the World Cup winners this time out, and also missed the game against Man City.

United missed Pogba badly during the loss to Pep Guardiola’s men.

Now, Pogba thinks he can be back for United after the international break ends.

That means he could even be fit to face Crystal Palace on the weekend according to Standard Sport.

It would be a huge boost for Mourinho, who is keen to see his side get back to winning ways.

After beating Juventus, United’s Champions League hopes are in much better shape.

The same can’t be said for their Premier League hopes, with the club cast adrift from the title race.

A good run of form

Mourinho will want to see his side capitalise on some kinder fixtures in the run up to the festive period.

United have already faced Man City, Chelsea, Everton and Liverpool this season.

Mourinho will hope his side can get the most out of teams like Palace, Southampton and Fulham.

They then face Arsenal, in what could be a key clash when it comes to the Champions League.
