Man United offer £80m for Harry Maguire
TalkSport have claimed on Thursday that Manchester United have submitted a fresh offer to sign Leicester’s Harry Maguire.
It’s believed that Man United have tabled an 80 million pound bid for the England international.
According to the UK broadcaster, Man United are also trying to ramp up the pressure on Leicester to say ‘yes’:
As revealed by Jim White on Thursday morning, the Red Devils have tabled their take it or leave it bid, which will be withdrawn on Monday if Leicester have not accepted it by then.
Will Man United’s time limit really have any bearing on Leicester’s decision on whether to accept?
The Premier League transfer window closes on August 8th.

Harry Maguire is unhappy at Leicester
On Thursday morning, Times reporter Paul Joyce posted an update on Maguire’s viewpoint in the Man United transfer saga.
Throughout the summer, fans have been told that Maguire isn’t set to force a move from the King Power Stadium.
Indeed, in today’s Times, reporter Paul Joyce confirms:
The 26-year-old is not planning to go on strike and is available for selection for the club’s final pre-season friendly at home to Atalanta tomorrow.
And yet, it’s also clear that Maguire is starting to lose patience with the Foxes.
The Times noted that “Maguire has pleaded with Brendan Rodgers” to allow him to join Man United.
Moreover, the centre-half is “deeply unhappy with the way that he has been treated by the club”.
