As per a report from French outlet RMC Sport, Manchester United are leading a host of clubs in the race to sign Amiens sensation Noam Emeran.
Emeran’s career so far
Emeran, a 16-year-old French youth international, joined Amiens from FC Brussels 6 years ago.
And the versatile winger/striker, who is said to model his game on that of Manchester City star Leroy Sane, has since gone on to develop into one of the most highly-regarded young players in France.
In fact, so impressive has Emeran been to this point in his fledgling career, that, according to Goal.com, despite being just 16, he has already been capped twice by France at U21-level.
Manchester United bound?
As such, news that a number of Europe’s top clubs are keen on securing his signature will come as little surprise.
As per the aforementioned report from RMC, all of Manchester United, Barcelona, Juventus and Valencia are monitoring Emeran.
The Red Devils, though, are said to have already secured a deal with Amiens.
However, RMC insist that Emeran himself has not yet decided on his preferred next destination.
As such, a move to Old Trafford is far from certain for the gifted starlet at this moment in time.
Winter Amiens departure
One aspect of any potential deal that is said to be certain, however, is when the transfer will take place.
Amiens are reportedly ready to allow Emeran to move on in January, though they expect fair compensation for one of European football’s brightest young talents.
