David De Gea has a night to forget

Euro 2016 favourites Spain qualified second in their group behind Croatia after conceding a late winner to the Croatians despite leading 1-0.

Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea was beaten at his near post for the Ivan Perisic late winner, after producing a less than stellar performance.

He only recently was made the Spain number one ahead of the legendary Iker Casillas and was recently named in an outrageous sex scandal.

Having been faultless in the Premier League over the last couple of season, David De Gea came in for a hiding on social media tonight.

Spain to face Italy

David De Gea’s late error has cost Spain dearly, with the European Champions to now face Italy in the next round instead of a much easier draw.

Captain Sergio Ramos wasted the opportunity to win the game from the penalty spot before De Gea’s blunder and the result means Croatia topped the group.
