Rakitic wanted by Man United and Inter
Manchester United have joined the race to sign Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo.
Rakitic is contracted to Barcelona until July of 2021 but the Spanish giants are said to be willing to sell him for around €50m.
United will, however, face competition from Inter Milan who have been linked with the 31-year-old for some time.

Rakitic to replace Mata and Herrera?
If United do manage to land Rakitic this summer, he may be a replacement for Ander Herrera or Juan Mata.
Both Herrera and Mata are in the last few months of their current United deals and as things stand, they will be leaving on frees this summer.
Herrera has featured much more regularly than Mata under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with the now permanent United boss keen for the midfielder to extend his stay:
“We want the best players in this club.
“Let’s hope club and player[Herrera] find an agreement. We will have a strong squad next season. Ander has been very good since I came in.”As quoted by Goal.
