Man United & Wolves clash
Manchester United and Wolves faced off in an FA Cup 3rd round clash on Saturday evening.
Wolves have gotten the better of Man United in recent times. In the clubs’ last four meetings before Saturday, Wolves had come out on top on two occasions, with the remaining two ties ending as draws.
Saturday’s clash would have a similar outcome, with United struggling to break Nuno Santo’s side down.
Proceedings would draw to a close with the score at 0-0, meaning a replay at Old Trafford is now on the cards.

Man United targeting Wolves duo?
After the tie, Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was asked about Man United’s links to Raul Jimenez, with OGS having had this to say:
“Another good player that we’ve been linked with.
“Loads of players are linked with us, he came on and did really well today but I can’t comment on these speculations.” As quoted by the Manchester Evening News.
Nuno Santo was also asked about Man United’s interest in his side’s standout striker. The Wolves boss had this to say:
“First-time I heard it. Ole [Gunnar Solskjaer] didn’t mention anything about that.
“The transfer window is open. When it is open anything can happen. As managers we have to be ready because anything can happen. We are very happy with Raul.” As quoted by the Manchester Evening News.
Now, on Sunday the 5th of January, Goal are reporting that the Manchester powerhouse have made enquiries as to the availability of both Jimenez and Wolves teammate Ruben Neves.
Jimenez has scored 17 and assisted nine in 32 outings across all competitions this season, and would certainly add some firepower to United’s attack, something they were lacking on Saturday.
As for Neves, the former Porto man has proven over the last few seasons that he is a top-quality midfielder, and would no doubt be an improvement on United’s current crop of midfielders.
