Man United handed double boost as photos surface of squad’s hotel arrival before Liverpool

Photos of the travelling Manchester United squad have surfaced ahead of the club’s meeting with Liverpool, hinting at a major boost for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and co.

Old Trafford showdown

Solskjaer is of course set to lead his side back into battle in a little less than 24 hours’ time.

After recovering from a stretch of dismal domestic form courtesy of a comeback win over Atalanta during the week, the Red Devils will now turn their attentions towards the marquee fixture of the Premier League gameweek.

United are poised to welcome high-flying Liverpool to Old Trafford on Sunday evening, for the latest edition of one of world football’s fiercest rivalries.

Solskjaer and co. enter the clash aware that nothing but a positive result will do, after slipping five points adrift of the Premier League’s summit owing to a draw and two defeats from their last three.

Liverpool, though, will no doubt be confident in their chances of shutting down any such hopes.

The Reds, after all, stand as the only English club to have maintained an unbeaten record across both domestic and European competition to this point in the season.

Bruno & Rashford cleared?

But, as outlined above, with the Theatre of Dreams showdown inching ever closer, on Saturday night, hosts United have been handed a timely boost.

A short time ago, the Red Devils’ squad was pictured arriving at the Lowry Hotel, as is customary ahead of fixtures on the red half of Manchester.

And, in news that will no doubt come as music to the ears of the United faithful, Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford – both viewed as doubts for tomorrow’s clash – were spotted alongside the rest of Solskjaer’s squad.

All told, the following players were photographed arriving at the Lowry, as per the Manchester Evening News:

De Gea, Henderson, Heaton, Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Lindelof, Shaw, Matic, McTominay, Van de Beek, Pogba, Fernandes, Sancho, Lingard, Greenwood, Cavani and Ronaldo
