Man United & Paul Pogba
Paul Pogba’s ongoing injury issues are featured on the back page of the Star on Sunday.
Pogba is currently out of action for Man United with a hamstring problem.
Pogba last played on September 12, 2017, but was forced off with a hamstring injury during the 3-0 win over Basel in the Champions League.
Manchester United have won all five games in the absence of Paul Pogba.
Paul Pogba’s Instagram updates
Away from Man United and working on his health, Pogba has been regularly updating his Instagram account.
The Manchester United midfielder posted a clip of exercises with the following tag line: “Bruce Lee style !! Wouaaaa tchaaaaaa #recovery”.
Unfortunately for Manchester United fans there was no update on how long Pogba will be out for.
Initially, it was thought Pogba could miss around three weeks of the season. In recent days there has been speculation that could extend to three months.
On Saturday night, as France beat Bulgaria 1-0 in a huge World Cup qualifier, Pogba showed how he was watching the game on TV.
Pogba can’t run properly
According to the Star, Man United are worried that Pogba can’t run properly.
His running style has been highlighted as a possible cause for his ongoing hamstring injury. The tabloid go on to claim:
Man United are considering appointing a special coach to deal with Paul Pogba’s hamstring problems.
The France midfielder creates massive loads of pressure on his leg muscles through his heavy, powerful frame.
The Star’s update comes after reports did the rounds that United have banned Paul Pogba from playing basketball.
