Manchester United defender Eric Bailly was missing from Manchester United’s squad to play Arsenal – and many people were wondering why.
The defender is a fan favourite and someone who has impressed when he’s featured for the club since joining, which due to injury, has been far less than many people, including manager Jose Mourinho, had hoped.
Now however, the player is fit and was missing from the squad – and people were furious, asking if Bailly has been made into a scapegoat – much like other players have been in the past when Jose Mourinho has decided they’re not playing well enough or had personal issues with them, and fans were also asking about Anthony Martial and the likes of Luke Shaw, who has suffered more than most since Jose Mourinho took charge at Manchester United.
It seems the majority of the United press think Bailly is fit to play, and were also wondering why he’s not featuring -though he may have picked up an injury late or, or illness – or Mourinho may have simply decided he has better options.

United team v Arsenal. Lindelof comes in for Jones – otherwise same team as last week. Bailly still injured? No sign of Shaw – but probably just no space with Jose going for mostly attacking subs. Hoping Sanchez can punish Arsenal! Come on United! #MUNARS pic.twitter.com/cfVwv4D92N
