Footage of Manchester United’s fans putting their own spin on Liverpool’s now-famous ‘Salah, oh Mane Mane’ chant has emerged online over the last 48 hours, following the Red Devils’ victory over their historical rivals on Saturday afternoon.
The two sides went head to head at Old Trafford in Saturday’s early kick-off, with a fixture packed with controversy eventually seeing hosts United emerge with a victory by 2 goals to 1.
A first-half brace from man-of-the-match Marcus Rashford proved all that was needed for Jose Mourinho’s men, with Liverpool unable to build on Eric Bailly’s own goal midway through the second-half.
The result meant that United extended their advantage over Liverpool in the Premier League table to 5 points, with the Mancunian outfit inching ever-closer to a spot in next season’s Champions League.
Unsurprisingly, in the aftermath of the clash, Manchester United’s fans were not shy about rubbing the noses of their Liverpool counterparts in the result, with footage doing the rounds online over the last 48 hours having showcased the creative side of the Red Devils’ fanbase.
As can be seen below, a small section of United fans have made some minor tweaks to the viral ‘Salah, oh Mane, Mane’ chant coined by Richy Sheehy back in January:
