Man United fans heap praise on Scott McTominay vs Huddersfield

Man United vs Huddersfield

Manchester United faced Huddersfield on Sunday in a must-win tie.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side started the day in 6th place, three points behind 4th-placed Chelsea.

Chelsea also played on Sunday at home to Watford.

If United were to stand any real chance of finishing 4th this season, they needed Maurizio Sarri’s side to lose or draw vs the Hornets.

Man United would also need to beat Huddersfield and then Cardiff on the final day of the season.

McTominay steals the show

Man United’s Sunday got off to a solid start as Scott McTominay put them 1-0 up inside eight minutes with a little help from Huddersfield’s keeper.

While United haven’t been in the best form in recent weeks, McTominay always seems to put on a stellar display, even if United play poorly.

The Red Devils did not have their best game vs 20th-placed Huddersfield but McTominay was once again giving his all, winning balls and putting in solid tackles.

As a result, United fans have taken to social media to praise the young midfielder.
