Man United eyeing Frankfurt striker Sebastian Haller – ESPN

Lukaku set for Inter?

Romelu Lukaku didn’t have a great 2018/19 season in terms of goals scored.

The Belgian managed to score 15 goals in 42 appearances across all competitions.

This is a decent record, but not really good enough for a side who want to be challenging for the top-four.

Lukaku has also been heavily linked with a move away from Manchester United in recent weeks.

The main rumour circulating is that new Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte is keen to make Lukaku his first summer signing.

Man United targeting Haller

Should Lukaku make the switch to Italy, ESPN are now reporting that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would want to sign Eintracht Frankfurt’s Sebastian Haller as his replacement.

Haller joined Frankfurt in July of 2017 from Dutch outfit FC Utrecht for a fee of around £6.8m.

Haller has played a total of 77 games for the Bundesliga outfit, in which he has scored 33 and assisted 19.

The Frenchman had a particularly impressive 2018/19 campaign.

In 29 league outings, Haller would score 15 and assist nine. He would also score five and assist three in 10 Europa League games.

However, Frankfurt may be especially reluctant to part with Haller now that Luka Jovic has left them for Real Madrid.

Jovic scored 27 and assisted seven in 42 games for Frankfurt last season, meaning losing both Haller and Jovic would be a huge blow for them.
