Man United: Everton ‘interested’ in Marcos Rojo, Inaki Williams ‘unlikely’ & Sean Longstaff isn’t moving

Everton ‘interested’ in Man United’s Marcos Rojo

On Wednesday, Everton had a loan offer for Chris Smalling rejected by Man United.

Could Everton now sign Marcos Rojo instead?

Rojo, an Argentinian international, is under contract at Old Trafford until 2021.

However, the South American defender appears a long way off from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s XI.

According to ESPN’s Rob Dawson, “Everton one of a few clubs interested in signing Marcos Rojo today”.

It’s unclear whether Everton’s interest would be for a loan deal, or a permanent transfer.

Inaki Williams ‘unlikely’ to join Man United

Romelu Lukaku is on his way to join Inter Milan.

Can Man United sign a replacement striker before 5pm today?

On Wednesday, Atheltic Bilbao attacker Inaki Williams was named as a possible Man United target.

However, Sky Sports on Thursday believe that it’s unlikely that Inaki Williams will join the Red Devils.

Newcastle: Sean Longstaff isn’t moving

Newcastle midfielder Sean Longstaff has been heavily linked with a possible move to United in recent weeks.

Yet, on transfer deadline day, it seems that Longstaff will remain at St. James’ Park.

The Athletic are reporting that a £30 million+ Man United offer for Longstaff was rejected by Newcastle this week.
