Christian Eriksen & Tottenham
The topic of Christian Eriksen’s ongoing Tottenham career is a focus for the Mail on Sunday.
Eriksen, 27, has six goals and 12 assists in the Premier League this season.
The Danish star has also scored twice in Tottenham’s Champions League campaign.
Eriksen joined Tottenham from Dutch outfit Ajax in 2013 for a fee in the region of £11.5 million.
His contract with Spurs expires at the end of next season, and it’s unclear whether Eriksen is open to agreeing a new deal.
Manchester United’s lucrative offer
Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are said to be interested in Eriksen.
However the Mail on Sunday believe that Man United could tempt the Scandinavian star to move to Old Trafford.
It’s claimed Man United would treble Eriksen’s current wages at Spurs:
Manchester United are preparing an audacious raid on Tottenham for Christian Eriksen and they are planning to entice him to Old Trafford by tripling his wage.
United have the finances to triple Eriksen’s wages to £240,000-a-week but they know Tottenham chief Daniel Levy will need to be convinced to cash in on the Dane.

Reasons to doubt a Man United deal
So how likely is it that Eriksen swaps Spurs for United?
Leaving aside any proposed pay-packet, Eriksen could cost any suitor 150 million pounds.
Common sense would also suggest that if Eriksen is determined to leave Spurs, the north London club would prefer to sell him to one of the La Liga giants instead of a direct competitor in the Premier League.

Note to Pochettino: You're doing amazingly well on your budget, but if you'd, say, sold Eriksen for £142m you could have bought 2 or 3 players with the money. Liverpool sold Coutinho to improve the team as a whole. Nothing like the way City or United just spend money

Toni Kroos will be allowed to leave Real Madrid this summer to make room for Manchester United star Paul Pogba and Tottenham playmaker Christian Eriksen, reports AS.
