Man United handed major injury boost ahead of Chelsea clash

Man United boost

Manchester United have been handed a boost with the news Marouane Fellaini could make the game against Chelsea.

United face a tough trip to Stamford Bridge at the weekend.

With doubts over key players and the international break having just gone, the news that Fellaini was only rested for Belgium and not injured will come as a great relief to Jose Mourinho.

Standard Sport report Roberto Martinez said“He should be fine, he just wasn’t 100 percent.

“He’s got a very important game at the weekend and it wasn’t a game today to use players that weren’t 100 percent.

Other doubts

There are other doubts for United.

The likes of Nemanja Matic may not make the game.

Luke Shaw is thought to be in line to feature.

Mourinho knows that a win is key for United.

Not only are Chelsea his former club, but the manager wants to make sure his side are in the race for the top four.

For their part, Chelsea are title contenders and will want to keep up with Manchester City and Liverpool.
