Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists Bruno Fernandes isn’t tired: ‘No chance’

Fulham vs Man United

Manchester United are back in Premier League action on Wednesday evening.

United, as of writing, sit top of the Premier League table, following a 0-0 draw with Liverpool at Anfield over the weekend.

However, by the time they kick off in London, the Red Devils could have been knocked off the summit.

This comes with Manchester City, who have a boast a game in hand, in action earlier in the day vs Aston Villa.

In turn, with the Citizens just two points adrift of United as things stand, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will be desperate to come away with a win against Fulham tomorrow night.

The Cottagers, though, despite sitting in the bottom three, should provide a tough test. They have looked considerably improved of late, and have managed to snatch points versus all of Liverpool, Tottenham and Southampton.

Solskjaer on Bruno Fernandes

Ahead of his side’s trip to Craven Cottage, meanwhile, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer held his latest press conference on Tuesday.

During the presser, the Norwegian discussed a number of topics, including Bruno Fernandes.

The Portuguese has played a massive number of games already this season, and, after he was taken off vs Liverpool on Sunday, Solskjaer appeared to hint that Fernandes was suffering from fatigue.

However, when drawn on the midfield creator’s wellbeing during his pre-Fulham presser, Solskjaer assured:

“Not tired, no chance. Is one of the players who covers ground in every game. Very good at recovering+ recharging his batteries. If he had scored with free-kick on Sun he would have been lauded as best player in PL. Has been immense”
