Transfer blow for Manchester United
Manchester United have been dealt a transfer blow after Borussia Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc ruled out Jadon Sancho leaving in the summer.
Sancho has grown into one of the most talented youngsters in football since leaving Manchester City.
The Englishman is one of Dortmund’s star players and is even taking his performances to the international stage with England.
However, his future is very much under the spotlight.
City’s rivals Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move for Sancho in recent months.
The latest report suggesting that Man United could move for the player came from the Telegraph, who claimed the Red Devils could make a £100million bid for Sancho.
That would be a sensational move and an incredible shame for Manchester City who let Sancho leave for barely anything.
Though, Man United could have been dealt a huge blow with Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc claiming Sancho won’t be going anywhere this summer.
“Jadon will play at Dortmund next season…”
Speaking about Sancho and a potential exit, Zorc explained that he’s not even willing to put a price tag on Sancho.
Not only that, Zorc has essentially ruled out an exit by explaining ‘Jadon will play at Dortmund next season’.
“I’m far from putting a price tag on Jadon,” said Zorc, as quoted by the Mirror.
“He will certainly not play in Dortmund until the end of his career. That is also part of the truth.
“But I will say that, even for the biggest club in the world, his transfer would be difficult right now.
“Jadon will play at Dortmund next season and we are definitely planning with him.”
