Man United & Arsenal on red alert: Marco Reus to leave Dortmund

Red alert

Both Manchester United and Arsenal are looking into the possibility of signing Marco Reus with the player confirming a potential move.

The German star was once one of the best players in world football and still is in many regards.

Though his career has taken a negative turn as injuries continue to plague him and he is still not set to return for another while.

Reus’ latest injury came in the final of last seasons German Cup win, suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury.

Though you would have expected him to stay at Borussia Dortmund for the rest of his career, Reus has admitted otherwise.

At the age of 30, Reus has now admitted that if he is to try out new things, he will be leaving Dortmund in the next year.

Not only that, Reus explained that five international clubs are still interested in him and if he is to move, that time is coming near.

Even still, Reus doesn’t know for certain what the future holds for him.

“There are four or five international clubs who interest me,” he recently explained.

“On May 31 next year, I will turn 30. That would be my last big contract and a final opportunity to try something different.”

“I have to be honest and fair and say I don’t know where I’ll end up.”

“At the moment, I’m very happy in Dortmund and not thinking about what happens after 2019.”

“But, of course, the time will come and then I will sit down and calmly make a decision.”
