Leroy Sane on his toughest opponent

Ahead of the Manchester City versus Chelsea game, Leroy Sane spoke with Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp.

One of the most intriguing angles from the interview was Redknapp’s question: Who has been your toughest opponent in the Premier League?

To which Sane answered: “It was before when I was playing against Kyle Walker. And Crystal Palace’s right-back Timothy Fosu-Mensah, I have played against him twice this season, and even last season, he had me really well under control and I told him how happy I was to play against him.”

Fosu-Mensah is on a season long loan at Crystal Palace from Manchester United this season.

The Crystal Palace defender has played against Sane twice this season. The first game saw Sane score in a 5-0 Manchester City win.

Whilst in December, Crystal Palace stopped Manchester City’s winning run with a 0-0 draw at Selhurst Park.

Undoubtedly, Sane’s comments will have impressed Manchester United fans hoping to see TFM in action at Old Trafford next season.
