Man City make Premier League history
Under the guidance of Pep Guardiola, Manchester City had yet another excellent season.
City made history during the 2017/18 Premier League campaign by earning a staggering 100 points. No PL side had ever achieved such a points total.
While Man City didn’t quite manage a century of points this season, the Sky Blues still set yet another record.
Guardiola would guide City to their first trophy of the season back in February, beating Chelsea to lift the League Cup.
Man City then beat Brighton on the final day of the season to secure their second successive league title.
Then, City smashed Watford 6-0 to lift the FA Cup and become the first English men’s side to complete the domestic treble.

City’s transfer plans
After winning back-to-back league titles and a domestic treble, you may have expected City to be relatively-quiet on the recruitment front this summer.
However, Man City have already been linked with a number of players in recent weeks.
Now, Man City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak has been speaking about Manchester City’s summer transfer plans.
When asked about how the Citizens’ plans are going, Al Mubarak stated:
“Advanced. Very advanced. We have a system now. This club now is a mature club. This organisation is a mature organisation. We plan early, we execute quickly and I think relatively well.
“There is no surprises, the way we approach every pre-season is consistent. We know our requirements early on. We start our scouting very early. We start our conversations between the football director, the manager. We start our budgeting project early.
“Before the season is over we know exactly what we need. We’ve already starting planning and we’ve already made the necessary approaches.” As quoted by the Manchester Evening News.
