Major injury fears for Crystal Palace’s Mamadou Sakho before Man United

Crystal Palace vs Manchester United

Much of the pre-match analysis before Crystal Palace take on Manchester United has focused on the visitors’ injury problems.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could be without ten first team regulars at Selhurst Park on Wednesday night.

However the Eagles also have injury concerns of their own.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is currently on the sidelines, while there are now fresh fears for the fitness of French centre-half Mamadou Sakho.

A picture is being shared around Crystal Palace of Mamadou Sakho on Monday night.

Sakho turned up to a fashion event in France on crutches.

It seems fair to say that Sakho will miss the Man United game. But will he also be sidelined for a lot longer?

Scott Dann has just returned from injury, and he could replace Sahko against Man United. Alternatively Martin Kelly could get the nod.

How Sakho got injured vs Leicester City

Crystal Palace beat Leicester 4-1 at the King Power Stadium last weekend.

n the final stages of the match, Mamadou Sakho was subbed out the game after a bizarre injury.

The French centre-half lost his footing when sliding a pass forward.

Immediately Sakho went down, and the defender appeared to suffer some knee injury.

Stood on the sidelines with a medic, Sakho worryingly seemed unable to put all his weight on his body.
