Lucas Torreira drops Arsenal exit hint
Lucas Torreira has featured in 9 out of 12 matches for Arsenal in the Premier League this season.
He’s only started on four occasions in the league, though.
This week, during an interview with Tiempo de Fútbol, Torreira discussed his Arsenal future, while talking publicly about playing for Boca Juniors in the future:
Today Arsenal needs me to be focused. I can’t start talking about another team.
I need to be focused and when the transfer period arrives we will see what happens.
I don’t know what will happen in the future. But I would like to be able to play for Boca.
It’s a dream I have for what that institution represents.
Unai Emery signed Lucas Torreira from Sampdoria in July of 2018.
The Gunners spent £26 million on the holding midfielder.
23-year-old Torreira is under contract at Arsenal until 2023.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang transfer links to Barcelona resurface
The Spanish press are once again touting the possibility that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could leave Arsenal to join Barcelona.
Sport have run an article titled: Aubameyang postpones contract talks with Arsenal, waiting for Barça.
Marca published a similarly-headlined report: Barcelona on alert as Aubameyang wants to leave Arsenal.
30-year-old Aubameyang is under contract with the Gunners until 2021.

The story peddled by the Spanish outlets is that Aubameyang is keen on playing Champions League football, and that he’s unconvinced that will happen at Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Barcelona have indicated that Luis Suarez’s time at the Camp Nou may soon come to an end.
So could Barca consider signing Aubameyang?
Of course, Aubameyang has recently become Arsenal’s captain, after that honour was stripped from Granit Xhaka.
