It’s only a matter of time before Lucas Perez leaves Arsenal. The Spanish forward was expected to leave before Alexandre Lacazette’s arrival and the acquisition of the Frenchman has only unsettled Perez.
The forward’s agent, Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle, told Press Association Sport that his client was unhappy with having his number nine shirt taken away from him without being asked. It was given to new boy Lacazette.

After arriving in London, Lovelle said: “I’m here to see the Emirates Cup and to be with Lucas.
“We have talked to everyone. Arsenal know we want to go, that there are no opportunities here, and next year there is a World Cup. Would you not be angry and sad and upset if you had your squad number taken without being asked?”
Perez arrived at the Emirates last summer in a £17 million transfer from Deportivo. A year later, he’s more than likely set for a move back to his old club. Deportivo have made an offer said to be in the region of €10 million.
“Deportivo made an offer a week ago. It is a permanent deal and worth more than Nolito’s move to Sevilla,” Lovelle continued. “Of course (he was told he would play more). Lucas signed for Arsenal and was the happiest person in the world and with all of his dreams to fulfil.
“We have seen that every time he played he did well, but after every time he got fewer and fewer opportunities.”
Perez made just nine starts in all competitions for Arsenal.
