Liverpool’s Mo Salah at Time awards

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah was traveled to New York this midweek.

Last week Time magazine released their famed ‘100 most influential people’ edition, and included in the list was Salah.

John Oliver, the British comedian and well-known Liverpool fan, wrote a short essay on Salah for Time. He said:

Mo Salah is a better human being than he is a football player. And he’s one of the best football players in the world.

You’d be hard-pressed to find a professional athlete in any sport less affected by their success or status than Mo, which is incredible because I can’t imagine the kind of pressure that comes with the intensity of adoration he receives.

During his time at the Time event, Salah rubbed shoulders with some famous faces.

That included hanging out with Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys in the hit HBO show Game of Thrones.

The Liverpool star also met American soccer icon Alex Morgan.
