Liverpool’s front three slated following poor showing vs Everton
Everton 0- Liverpool 0
Liverpool faced Everton on Sunday in the second Merseyside derby of the 2018/19 season.
Liverpool came away 1-0 winners in the reverse fixture earlier this year with Divock Origi scoring a later winner.
Origi would start up top on Sunday as well with Roberto Firmino left on the bench.
With Man City beating Bournemouth on Saturday, Liverpool knew they needed to win if they wanted to go back top of the league.

Liverpool’s attack comes up short
However, the game would finish 0-0 with Jurgen Klopp’s side now one point behind Manchester City.
At one point earlier in the season, Liverpool had a seven-point lead at the top of the table.
Following the 0-0 draw, Liverpool’s attack has been getting a fair bit of stick online.
It is easy to see why though as Origi, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane all looked to be lacking in confidence on Sunday.
As did Roberto Firmino when he came off the bench.
Salah had perhaps the best chance of the game in the first half but his poor touch let him down.
CHANCE FOR LIVERPOOL
Fabinho releases Mo Salah and he has so much time but Pickford saves well. He has to score.

Liverpools front three all over the place. Holding the ball for to long or making the wrong decisions.

Dramatic drop in the form of #Salah in the last month and Liverpool look rattled. Pressure is getting to them…Man City look favourites now. #EVELIV

Salah just looks devoid of confidence & maybe trying to hard

If we don’t win this Salah‘s 2 chances will run in my head for the next few weeks

Multiple times Salah and Mane have had chances to pass to the other on a break. Each time they went another way. #LFC
