Liverpool’s Firmino & Robertson combine for amazing gesture to young fan

A touch of class from Liverpool duo Andy Robertson and Roberto Firmino has been going viral online this afternoon, after the former reached out to a young fan to show his appreciation for a brilliant gesture.

Class act

The story revolves around youngster Alfie Radford, who came to the attention of the Liverpool players this week after deciding to donate his pocket money to the food-banks at Anfield, rather than spend it on himself.

Reds’ stopper Andy Robertson was clearly particularly taken aback by the gesture, and since took it upon himself to reach out to Alfie with a personalized letter, showcasing his appreciation.

Robertson also included a signed Liverpool jersey as part of his package to the youngster, but, as explained in the second to last paragraph below, it is not his own jersey, but that of star hitman Roberto Firmino.

Check out the letter and a photo of Alfie with his new prized possession below:

Road ahead

Next up for Liverpool is a crunch Premier League clash with Manchester United this Saturday afternoon, with the fearsome historical rivals currently separated by just 2 points in the English top-flight table.
