Danny Ings injured again
Liverpool forward Danny Ings has had no luck since leaving Burnley for Merseyside in 2015.
It was today being reported that the 24-year-old England international would likely miss the rest of the season with another knee injury.
Danny Ings missed the majority of last season with a cruciate knee problem but has now suffered serious cartilage damage in his other knee.
The injury was sustained during last week’s EFL Cup victory over Spurs.
Out for season
It is believed Liverpool will be without the young striker for seven months, which all but rules him out for the rest of the 2016/17 season.
The Telegraph report that Danny Ings is currently in London seeing a specialist ahead of an operation.
Jurgen Klopp’s wealth of attacking options has resulted in Ings getting only 48 minutes of action for the first team this season but it’s understood that he is a very popular figure in the dressing room.
