Liverpool’s Andy Robertson on his favourite player, assist & footballing moment as a child

Football players answer fans’ questions

With the majority of football suspended around the world, players are finding themselves with a lot of spare time on their hands.

As a result, a number of top footballers, such as Manchester City’s Ilkay Gundogan and Bayern Munich’s Jerome Boateng, have taken to social media to answers fans’ questions.

The latest player to do so is Liverpool defender Andy Robertson.

The full-back hosted an impromptu Q & A on his official Twitter account on Thursday afternoon.

Andy Robertson’s favourite player, assist & footballing moment

One of the first questions the Scotsman answered was regarding his favourite assist.

Both Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold have chipped in with a plethora of assists for Jurgen Klopp’s side in recent seasons, with the 26-year-old managing seven in the league so far this term.

In terms of his favourite assist, Robertson narrowed it down to a choice of two, those being at home vs Manchester City this campaign, or at Anfield vs Watford during his debut season with the club.

Robertson also named his favourite football moment as a child, and his favourite player of all time.

Rather unsurprisingly, the Glasgow-born Celtic fan named former Celtic standout Henrik Larsson as his favourite player, whilst also citing the Swede scoring away to Boavista to put Celtic into the UEFA Cup Final as his favourite footballing moment as a child.
