Liverpool vs Tottenham betting tips: Premier League match preview & predictions

Liverpool vs Tottenham 101 Great Goals prediction: Liverpool 2-2 Tottenham

Heading into Sunday’s mouthwatering clash, the pressure is on for both Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur with the battles for the title and top four reaching their climax.

The Reds can afford no slip-ups with Manchester City winning at Fulham on Saturday. Pep Guardiola’s side are a point clear at the top of the table, with both sides having played the same amount of games.

For Spurs, they are winless in four and have allowed Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea to move within touching distance of them.

Premier League preview: Liverpool vs Tottenham

Liverpool will arrive at Anfield on Sunday with the pressure of having learnt Manchester City’s result.

Pep Guardiola’s side overtook the Reds with three points against Fulham on Saturday.

Klopp’s team edged past the Cottagers two weeks ago to move top of the table.

In their last four outings, Liverpool showed a rampant side in front of goal netting on 12 occasions.

Sadio Mane has been particularly impressive for Liverpool this season.

The Senegalese winger is currently the Premier League’s joint-second highest scorer with 17 goals.

Tottenham trying to take their first league win in five

Tottenham’s recent run of form has seen them slip from the title race right the way into the battle for the top four.

Defeats to Burnley, Chelsea and Southampton leave their hopes of Champions League football next season in the balance.

Arsenal will have the chance to move above Spurs into third if they better their bitter rival’s result when they face Newcastle United on Monday.

Their poor spell has coincided with the returns of Harry Kane and Dele Alli from long injury layoffs.

Understandably, both players have looked off the pace since returning and Mauricio Pochettino will be desperate for the duo to get back up to full speed as soon as possible.
