Liverpool vs Man United

There’s a huge match in the Premier League on Sunday as Liverpool take on Manchester United.

Liverpool come into the match in first place in the division.

Jurgen Klopp’s men have one point more than Man City after 16 matches this season.

As for United, they seem out of the title race sitting sixth in the league.

Man United have 26 points on the board, which is already eight points less than Arsenal and Chelsea.

Ander Herrera & Marouane Fellaini

In the Times on Thursday, Paul Joyce has assessed Man United’s chances of winning at Anfield.

According to Joyce, Mourinho’s tactics will revolve around two players in the middle of the park: Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini.

In a suggestion that Man United will deploy a physical team to combat with Liverpool’s fluidity, the Times report:

Herrera and Fellaini will surely start with the instruction to seek out and destroy.

United are the only Premier League side Klopp has never beaten since arriving at Liverpool, suggesting Mourinho still has a knack of blunting their intent. But it will take a performance of the kind United have rarely produced so far this term if they are to maintain that record.
