Liverpool stars attract hate

An old video is being shared heavily on social media on Tuesday, as Liverpool haters line up to abuse the Reds and their star players.

The video in question features the Liverpool first team getting on a bus, while a throng of supporters tried to get the players to sign their stuff.

One by one the Liverpool players stepped on the bus, while making it crystal clear to their supporters that no autographs or selfies were happening.

For clarity, it’s clear the video is old for several reasons. One, Lucas Leiva is in it. Two, it features last season’s ‘toxic thunder’ third kit. And thirdly, it was filmed in England while the Reds are now in Asia on their pre-season tour.

Cue the hate

Despite the fact the video isn’t new, the Liverpool players are being slaughter by football fans on social media.

While some have tried to argue that the players were likely instructed by the club  to ignore the fans, that’s failed to quell much of the online anger.
