Liverpool player Mo Salah has hit out at rumours linking him with Real Madrid, and claimed that he will not be joining the La Liga giants, and that the reports linking him to the club were wrong.
It’s brilliant news for Liverpool, given they’ve just lost Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona, and would not like to lose another key player full stop, let alone in this transfer window.
Since arriving in England, Salah has been a revelation, and certainly put to bed any rumours of him being anything other than a top class player, despite a spell at Chelsea that saw him have limited game time and eventually be shipped off by the club, who will be regretting that decision now.
فيه اخبار غلط كتييييره نزلت النهارده بس ماشي مش هعلق
— Mohamed Salah (@22mosalah) January 11, 2018
This translates as: “There is a lot of rumuors that are false recently, and there will be no comment on them”
Salah has been described as Liverpool’s best player, and the performances he’s putting in warrant that description, so it was only natural a side like Real Madrid were going to end up moving for him or at the very least being linked with him, but the Reds will appreciate the fact that their new cult hero seems to have no plans to go anywhere at the minute, and wants to help the club fight for trophies.
The Reds are battling to finish in the top four and of course the Champions League, something they know all about winning, and a good run in that, after selling Coutinho would be a massive boost for the club, who are also trying to bring Keita in six months early despite having a deal agreed for him come the summer, however that may be harder than first thought with RB Leipzig holding firm on that score.
