Liverpool could be set for a pretty hefty injury blow ahead of their game with Leicester City as a trio of starting players are set to miss the game.
Those players are Emre Can, Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip which could leave the club extremely short at the back.
Can will be missed but Liverpool are able to replace the player with quality in the middle of midfield.
Though, the club may find it very difficult to replace both Lovren and Joel Matip with the quality they will need to keep Leicester out.
Ragner Klavan and Joe Gomez are two players would likely come into the squad due to the injuries but that they will not fill Reds fans with joy.
The side were carved open against Leicester in the Carabao cup on Tuesday evening as they were knocked out of the competition.
That will certainly give manager Jurgen Klopp something to worry about especially with a trio of big players set to be missing for the game.
Sadio Mane also remains out of action after his red card against Manchester City and will miss another match after the Leicester game.
Though, Klopp’s concerns will certainly lie in the heart of the defence in which he may have to throw Joe Gomez and Klavan into the fray.
