Liverpool have this evening announced their starting lineup to take on Porto in their Champions League last-16 second leg tie, with a pair of key players benched.
The two sides are set to go head to head at Anfield, with Liverpool having absolutely blitzed the Portuguese giants in the first-leg between the sides 3 weeks ago.
The brilliant trio of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane did the damage on the day, with the latter having added gloss to the scoreline with his hat-trick sealing strike in the 85th-minute.
The Reds have since secured further victories over West Ham (4-1) and most recently, Newcastle (2-0).
Porto, meanwhile, have won 4 games on the bounce since their dismal showing at the Estádio do Dragão on the 14th of February, the latest of which came last Friday versus fierce rivals Sporting CP.
The starting lineups of both sides were announced a short time ago, with a pair of notable absentees for Liverpool, in the form of Mohamed Salah and Virgil Van Dijk.
The duo take their place on the bench for this evening’s clash, with Jurgen Klopp no doubt having one eye on the Reds’ crunch Premier League meeting with Manchester United on Saturday:
