Arsenal & Aaron Ramsey
In the Evening Standard on Thursday there’s an update on Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
Ramsey is out of contract at the Gunners at the end of the season.
Talks between Arsenal and Ramsey over a possible new deal have stalled for some time.
As of January 1, Ramsey has been free to talk to foreign clubs about possible a possible move in the summer.
But could Ramsey end up staying in the Premier League?
Liverpool & Man United
According to the Standard, both Liverpool and Man United retain an interest in Ramsey.
Of course, unlike their rivals from the continent, neither Liverpool nor Man United are able to speak to Ramsey until the end of the season.
On Liverpool’s interest in the 28-year-old, readers are told “Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is an admirer of Ramsey’s energy and believes he would be perfectly suited to Liverpool’s high-pressing game.”
Yet, when it comes to analysing the possibility of Ramsey moving to Anfield, the Standard say it’s “unlikely”.
Could Ramsey head to Man United instead? The paper reports:
United have watched Ramsey’s career closely ever since failing to sign him when Ramsey joined Arsenal from Cardiff in 2008.
They enquired about him last summer but Jose Mourinho has since departed as manager and United are unlikely to do much significant rebuilding in January given they have an interim manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Is Ramsey joining Juventus?
For a while now, Juventus have been the club supposedly leading the chase for Ramsey.
While that deal may still materialise, the player is said to be surveying his options.
Inter Milan, AC Milan, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are all considering making moves.
