Liverpool handed triple fitness boost ahead of Fulham

Liverpool’s boost before Fulham

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that the Reds will have Jordan Henderson, Naby Keita and Joe Gomez fit and ready for selection ahead of Fulham.

When speaking about the trio returning to full fitness, Klopp stated:

“It’s good to have them back, it’s probably the first time that all midfield players apart from Ox are available.”

Klopp was also quick to praise Fulham, despite them being bottom of the league:

“We have to defend them. They are a skilled team offensively and tuned in doing a lot of things.

“The end product, the finishing was maybe not so good often enough but they’ve scored goals.

“On the other hand, they’ve conceded, but you will never score a goal against a team like Fulham with their quality only because you go into the game with the wrong attitude and think about scoring, scoring, scoring.”

Liverpool vs Fulham

Liverpool lost 2-0 to Red Star Belgrade earlier in the week in a very poor display.

So, they will be hoping to bounce back on Sunday vs bottom of the league.

Liverpool head into the weekends games 3rd in the Premier League.

They have played 11, won eight and drawn three.

The Reds are also just two points off the top of the table and with Manchester City playing Manchester United this weekend, it could be a great chance for Liverpool to go top.

Fulham, on the other hand, come into this game 20th in the table and without a win in five league games.

Fulham also have the worst defence in the league, letting in a staggering 29 goals in 11 league games.
