Crystal Palace vs Liverpool
Liverpool are set to travel to Crystal Palace on Saturday, as they look to continue their unbeaten start to the Premier League season.
The Reds have amassed 11 wins in the PL so far this term, drawing their remaining outing.
This has given Jurgen Klopp’s men a commanding eight-point lead atop the table.
Liverpool are also nine points clear of last season’s Premier League champions, Manchester City.
As for Crystal Palace, they are experiencing a bit of a dip in form.
The Eagles have slipped down to 12th in the English top-flight after failing to win any of their last four league ties.
Ahead of the clash with Crystal Palace, Liverpool have provided an update on key man Mohamed Salah.
The attacker has been recovering from an ankle issue of late, with Liverpool claiming that they will make a late call on Salah’s availability ahead of the Palace tie:
Liverpool will make a late decision on Mohamed Salah’s availability for Saturday’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.
Jurgen Klopp also spoke about Salah in his pre-Crystal Palace press conference on Friday:
“Yesterday he trained. He trained the whole time since he was here, but only the things we wanted him to do.
“Today is another important session to see how it looks and we can make the decision. It’s not that it got worse but it’s still kind of there, that’s the problem. We have to be sensible with things like this.
“But I didn’t make the decision. If I would have made a decision, I probably wouldn’t have told you now, but it’s true I have to see the session today.” As quoted by Liverpool’s official website.
