Gross impresses for Brighton
According to the Mirror, Liverpool want to sign Brighton’s Pascal Gross in the upcoming January window.
Liverpool are reportedly willing to offer around £15 million for the German’s services.
Gross joined Brighton in July of 2017 from German outfit FC Ingolstadt for a fee of around £2.7 million.
In his debut season for the Seagulls, Gross would prove to be somewhat of a bargain buy.
The 27-year-old would play all 38 of Brighton’s league games last season, in which he scored seven and assisted eight.
Gross was one of if not the best player for Brighton last season as they managed to avoid relegation.
Klopp is a fan of Gross
The 2018/19 season, however, has not been as positive for the Brighton forward.
Gross has missed a large chunk of the season through injury and in the eight games he has played, he has struggled to get back to his best scoring just one goal.

However, that is not seemingly stopping Jurgen Klopp from wanting to sign Gross this January.
Klopp is said to be a big fan of Gross’s from when the duo were both in Germany.
The Liverpool boss was also full of praise for Gross in an interview last December:
“I have known him since he was a kid. He is a fantastic player that has made another big step physical wise.
“He has a nice right foot, is good at set-pieces and a nice shooter. He is a smart player and I like him.”
