Prior to today’s game, Lallana admitted:
“It’s been a difficult challenge for me this year and I’ve had a long layoff but I’m back at the business end of the season.
“I’ve got to look at the positives – we’ve got a World Cup coming up, some really important games in the league and Champions League.
“If you’re going to be back fit for one part of the season it’s the back end, the business part.
“Injuries happen but I feel physically and mentally as fresh as anyone. I’m raring to go.”

Btw Lallana and Henderson are only a few weeks away from surpassing Sturridge’s time out due to injury.

Unbelievable. Lovren is coming on for Lallana. Poor guy looks like he’s got a bad injury. Three at the back for LFC. Would be surprised if Lallana played again this season. Such shitty luck, he’s had.
