Liverpool’s travelling squad for tomorrow night’s Champions League final has this afternoon been announced.
Liverpool vs Tottenham
Jurgen Klopp’s men flew out to Madrid earlier today, for the 2nd of two all-English European showpieces in the space of 3 days.
After Chelsea put Arsenal to the sword by 4 goals to 1 in the Europa League final on Wednesday night, Liverpool and Spurs will be both be hoping to follow suit as they go head-to-head over the most highly-sought after prize in European football.
The Merseysiders booked their spot in the Champions League final courtesy of a historic second-leg comeback victory over La Liga giants Barcelona three weeks ago.
After falling to a 3-0 defeat at the Camp Nou in the tie’s first-leg, Liverpool roared back at Anfield, eventually emerging with a 4-0 second-leg win thanks to doubles from Divock Origi and Gini Wijnaldum.
No team seems to overcome the impossible quite like Liverpool…

Kelleher in, Keita out
Both the Reds and Tottenham have been forced to deal with a number of respective injury problems of late, with the latter sweating over the fitness of the likes of Harry Kane, Harry Winks, Davinson Sanchez and Jan Vertonghen.
All 4, though, were named in Mauricio Pochettino’s travelling squad 48 hours ago:

Also included are young Irish goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher, and fellow starlet Rhian Brewster.
