Egypt assistant coach Hany Ramzy claims the injury is just a muscle strain.

The forward will undergo further medical tests to identify the full extent of the problem.

Fortunately for Jurgen Klopp’s side, the injury is only believed to be “very light”.

Ramzy said:

“His injury looks like a slight sprain so we decided to take him off so he can rest.

“He will have an x-ray as a matter of precaution but we expect this to be a very light injury.”

Salah’s incredible goal vs Swaziland

Salah became the Pharaoh’s third highest goalscorer as he scored for the 38th time this evening.

The forward also broke Hossam Hassan’s record of 12 goals in AFCON Qualifiers.
