Liverpool boost: Bayern’s Leon Goretzka a late-scratch from starting XI

Bayern Munich have this evening confirmed the news that Leon Goretzka will miss their side’s crunch clash with Liverpool with an ankle injury.

The Bavarian giants have travelled to Merseyside for the first-leg of their highly-anticipated Champions League last-16 tie with the Reds, set to kick-off in under an hour’s time.
