Liverpool & Aston Villa eyeing Rashica
Rashica has just over two years left on his current Werder Bremen deal.
But anid an impressive 2019/20, a couple of Premier League clubs appear to be eyeing a move for the winger.
According to the Mirror, writing on Sunday the 22nd of March, Liverpool and Aston Villa are leading the race to sign the Werder Bremen standout.
And both clubs are now said to have learned what fee they must pay if they wish to land the Kosovo international.
The report from the Mirror, citing Gazeta Blic, claims that Rashica’s agent, Altin Lana, has said that he will cost £35m.
If that price is indeed to be believed, would he actually be worth it for Liverpool?
As already mentioned above, Rashica was having a solid 2019/20 before football was brought to a halt by the COVID-19 pandemic.
But with his natural position on the left-wing, Rashica would largely be competing with Sadio Mane for first-team football, meaning the Werder Bremen star would probably spend a good chunk of his Liverpool stint on the bench.
And £35m, even in today’s market, is a bit of a steep fee for a squad player.
