Liverpool’s Bobby Duncan & Fiorentina
As confirmed by the BBC on Monday morning, 18-year-old Bobby Duncan appears set to leave Liverpool today.
Duncan is on the verge of a move to Serie A side Fiorentina. The BBC reveal:
Liverpool forward Bobby Duncan is close to joining Italian side Fiorentina on a permanent transfer.
Fiorentina had a loan move rejected but have now agreed a fee of 2m euros (£1.8m) with a 20% sell-on clause.
Why is Bobby Duncan leaving Anfield?
Bobby Duncan’s imminent exit from Liverpool isn’t a huge surprise.
That’s after the midfielder’s agent took to social media last week to complain about Duncan’s situation at Anfield.
Saif Rubie posted the following tweets, before he deleted his account.
“Where are the parents in this?”
“I’ve had a run in with this guy. He’s not the most intelligent of agents.”

Who is Bobby Duncan?
Bobby Duncan, who is Steven Gerrard’s cousin, joined Liverpool from Man City back in 2018.
Duncan has made a name for himself in recent years both at Man City and for the England youth teams.
Back in 2016, Duncan scored a hat-trick for England’s U16s against Brazil.
Duncan left the Etihad Stadium under a bit of a dark cloud, amid reports of contract disputes with Man City.
