A brilliant video has been doing the rounds online this evening, involving Barcelona star Lionel Messi’s doppelganger Reza Parastesh.
Iranian native Parastesh gained considerable fame earlier in the summer, after photos of the Messi lookalike began to do the rounds in Persia.
Within weeks of the first photos of the Iranian finding their way onto social media, Parastesh was catapulted to internet fame, with the likes of RT’s Ruptly and BeIN Sports quickly organising interviews.
He has since become known to most football fans around the world, with the dead ringer for Barcelona’s Argentinian superstar making a return to the headlines today, after taking a tour of the Bernabeu.
‘Messi’ takes a look around
During his trip around Real Madrid’s ground, Parastesh can be seen sitting in the dugouts pitchside, checking out Cristiano Ronaldo’s framed jersey, and getting a closeup look at Los Blancos’ 12 Champions League trophies.

In other news surrounding Messi, the winner of FIFA’s ‘the best’ player award will be revealed tonight, with the Argentine superstar, along with long-time rival Cristiano Ronaldo, the two leading candidates for the accolade.
Ronaldo is the current favourite, however, with the Portuguese attacker having sealed a Champions League & La Liga double with Los Blancos last season.
