As good as done
Leicester are closing in on the signing of Manchester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho.
The Nigerian striker is touted as one of the top forward talents in the Premier League, but has found regular game time hard to come by at Manchester City.
According to Mike Keegan of the Daily Mail, a £25 million deal for the striker is close to completion and the striker will join his new teammates when they return to England following their tour of Asia.
Time to grow
Iheanacho scored 4 goals in his 20 Premier League appearances last season, most of which were as a second half substitute.
Being just 20 years old, there’s plenty of time for Iheanacho to become a top class striker. In Pep Guardiola’s side, he’s clearly behind Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus in the pecking order.
At the King Power, Iheanacho will link up with international teammates Wilfried Ndidi and Ahmed Musa.
